Membership Terms & Agreement - Delfs’ TaeKwon-Do Inc.
(Information subject to change without notice)

The following are the terms, conditions & agreement between Delfs TaeKwon-Do Inc., Herein and after known as the 'Club', and the client(s) herein after known as the 'member(s)'. By undergoing a fitness program, membership or special program at Delfs' TaeKwon-Do Inc.

Membership Dues, Suspension and Termination
Dues
All membership dues are to be paid on the date(s) agreed at the time of sale of the membership. There will be a $20 N.S.F. fee for any returned cheques.
Refunds
There are no refunds on memberships or used equipment and clothing. All membership sales are final.
Membership Transfer
Remaining time on 'Time' memberships may be transferred to another person. This transfer must be approved by the club. A transfer fee must accompany a membership transfer application. Membership resale shall not be publicly solicited.
Membership Transfer Fees:
  Gym memberships$25
  TaeKwon-Do memberships$50
  all other programs $25

Membership Freeze
Active portions of memberships may be suspended (put on hold) during periods of non use. A fee of $15 must accompany a 'membership hold' application before membership time will be frozen. Membership freeze does not work retroactively.
'EASYPay' pre-authorized payment programs
All pre-authorized payment programs are based on a minimum membership time of 6 months (6 - payments). After this time the member is free to cancel their membership or continue with the monthly payments. In the event the member wishes to cancel the pre-authorized payment, the member is responsible for payment of the balance of the membership based on 6 months. In the event the payment returns 'N.S.F.' the payment will be run again 15 days late with an N.S.F. fee added on. 'EASYPay’ memberships may not be placed on hold. Members have up to three months to notify us of any mistakes or problems with their EASYPay membership. If the problem lasts longer than three months, Delfs’ will only be responsible for the most recent three months
Membership termination
The membership may terminate for just cause with no compensation to the member if any terms or requirements of the this agreement are not met or if any rules of the club are not followed.
Membership Health & Liability
Members over 35 years.
All members over 35 years of age are recommended to have a medical check up by a physician before commencing an exercise program at the club. All members having heart disease must consult their doctor prior to starting a fitness program at the club
Injuries
The member understands the physical nature of exercise. The club can not be held responsible by any means or ways for damage of bodily injuries of any nature caused by equipment or training at the above mentioned facility.
Property damage
The member is responsible for all property of the club damaged by the member. This does not extend to normal day to day wear and tear on equipment or facility.
Members property Loss
The club holds no responsibility for any lost, stolen or other wise misplaced property of the members.
General Rules
All members must strictly follow and abide by the posted rules of the club. These rules include but are not limited to:
Outdoor Shoes
Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the club. Clean indoor shoes are allowed.
Money-Back Guarantee Programs
Money-Back Guarantee programs cover the cost of the value added services only and not the cost of the gym membership. Such services may or may not include fitness testing , personal training and nutritional consulting. Participants must train the number of times as recommended by the trainer. They must meet with the trainer once per week. Participant must log all meals as required by the trainer and follow trainers program. They will be given a fit test at the start and end of the program to prove their results.
Personal Training Programs
All members should be punctual for appointments and understand that appointments missed without 24 hours notice will not be rescheduled. Appointments canceled by the trainer without 24 hours notice will be credited with 1 free session in addition to the missed appointment. Members who are late for appointments will have the session length reduced in time at the discretion of the trainer. Clients on the money back guarantee program who miss scheduled appointments without reasonable notice will void their guarantee.
TaeKwon-Do Memberships
Black Belt Memberships
Black belt memberships programs may only be transferred a single time. After the first transfer the membership is only valid for the new member.

Refusal to class admittance
Members may be refused admittance to class for any of the following reasons:
Late. Members are asked to arrive at least 15 min. before scheduled class start times. After class starts members will not be allowed to join class.
No uniform or belt
All Members are required to wear a proper TaeKwon-Do Uniform (Do-Bok) and proper belt. Uniforms must have a club crest on the left lapel. There are  to be no markings from other schools displayed on the uniform.
Jewelry
For the purpose of safety to other members, members are not permitted to wear watches, rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets or decorative jewelry of any kind what so ever. medic alert bracelets and necklaces permitted.
Other
Members may also be refused to class for use of profanity or disobeying any of the rules of the club.
Assigned Grade and Ranking
The member will accept without dispute any rank and/or belt and/or grade given and/or assigned to them by the club as the club sees fit. This assigned grading or ranking may be assigned at any time and not just after student gradings.
Misc.TaeKwon-Do is not provocative and the member will never use the art as such.

Child Care
Parents must pickup their children promptly. And follow posted child care hours.
Parents will be requested to pick up their children if they are crying for more then 15 min.Children who are sick are not allowed.
